Woodhall Spa Cuisine
A varied menu is provided over a 4-weekly cycle and meals are freshly cooked every day. An alternative is offered for residents wishing to have something different from the menu. Menus are changed as often as possible, taking into consideration suggestions from residents during our residents and relatives meeting. Residents with special dietary needs are well catered for.
Alternatives to the menu are available for all meals and are displayed on the notice board.
At teatime there is always bread and butter with jam and cakes served with tea, coffee and cold drinks.

Monday:
Lunch: Lancashire hotpot, potatoes with seasonal vegetables. Stewed plums & custard.
Tea: Teacakes & cheese.
Tuesday:
Lunch: Chicken pie, creamed potatoes with seasonal vegetables. Peach crumble & custard.
Tea: Pate on toast.
Wednesday:
Lunch: Braising steak, roast potatoes with seasonal vegetables. Gooseberry fool.
Tea: Fish fingers & tomatoes.
Thursday:
Lunch: Liver, bacon & onions, creamed potatoes with seasonal vegetables. Cheesecake.
Tea: Boiled eggs.
Friday:
Lunch: Breaded haddock, chips & peas. Almond tart & custard.
Tea: Potato Salad, Beetroot & haslet.
Saturday:
Lunch: Shepherd’s pie, boiled potatoes, seasonal vegetables. Baked apples & custard.
Tea: Cheese sandwiches.
Sunday:
Lunch: Roast Beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes with seasonal vegetables. Gateau & cream.
Tea: Ham & pickles. Trifle.
Drinks are served regularly throughout the day which includes morning tea, mid-morning coffee with biscuits and fresh fruit, afternoon tea with biscuits and supper drinks.
